Is Yoga Easy or Does it Hurt?

I won’t lie, it is not easy. But it should not hurt. One may feel a stretch and you most likely will feel it afterwards, but sharp pains during the practice are not wanted. The exercises done in a yoga class build stamina, strength and assist in gaining flexibility. We use props to assist one in minimizing the “strain” you may feel at the gym or during major workouts. Utilizing the breath the body is able to soften to create a sense of ease in a pose. Plus there is a resting time after each class which you don’t get in any other workout.
