Chaturanga Prep (with blocks) and verbal cues

Often doing strengthening poses we steal from other areas of the body creating an imbalance. In this video Niama goes into Chaturanga from Plank pose with balanced strength in the neck, upper back and chest, arms, abdomen, back and legs. You can see as she lowers down to the block, nothing is gripping to cause the alignment to be out of balance, but moving with the exhale, she slowly keeps the front, back and sides of the body moving as a whole.
